Publix
  • Up to one manufacturer and one store coupon per item.
  • For a BOGO sale, you may still use one manufacturer and one store coupon on the item you are getting for free.
  • You can use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale (making both free).
  • If coupons make it such that Publix owes you money, they will give you cash back in that amount.
  • Publix will honor specific “Competitor” coupons.  The definition of competitor varies by store and the customer service desk has small handouts that include which competitor stores their store will accept coupons from.
  • Gas Card Promotions- Spend $25 on Groceries, get $10 off of a $50 gas card.  One deal per shopping trip.  Minimum $25 spent is determined after sales prices are calculated into the total but before coupons.

  • New Sales start on Thursday

  • One coupon per item
  • Will price match competitors sale ads
  • Will give you cash back
•Target
  • One store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item
  • Does not take competitor coupons
  • For a BOGO sale, cannot use a coupon on the free item
  • Will not give you cash back or even allow a coupon to make you money, instead they will adjust the value of the coupon to make the item free.

  • Get a CVS card!  (it’s free)
  • You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item
  • “Magic Red Machine”
  • If they owe you money, you need to purchase more items so that it can be credited to your transaction, they will not give you cash back
  • Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) (have expiration date)
  • Summer gas card deal
  • Store card tracks purchases
•Walgreens
  • They will not accept a coupon if it means they will owe you money- the register will beep when the cashier scans the coupon to let them know
  • New coupon policy gives cashiers the liberty to refuse a coupon- one cashier told me they are encouraged to look for coupons that make things free and to not accept them
  • You can se one store and one manufacturer coupon per item . . . As long as it doesn’t make the item a money maker
  • Register Rewards (have expiration date)
  • If you use them to buy the same type of item that you earned them with, no new ones will print
  • You cannot have more Register Rewards and manufacturer coupons than the total number of items in the same transaction (just buys a “filler item” like a candy bar or pencil) Tip: You need to break it out into multiple transactions
